VE Day celebrations at Norden House

Residents, staff, and family members at Norden House celebrated VE Day in true vintage style.

This joyous occasion was commemorated by entertainer Sharon Music, who performed music from the 1950’s and 1960’s, which had residents singing, clapping, and dancing together.

The festivities continued with a special BBQ lunch, and DeLuca’s Ice Cream van which had been specially hired by the home to provide complimentary ice creams for everyone to enjoy.

The VE Day brought residents, staff, family members, and community members together to reminisce and celebrate in style.

Activities lead at Ella Rozier, for Norden House said:
“Seeing our residents singing, dancing and enjoying themselves together was wonderful. Events like this are so important in bringing people together, creating joyful memories and celebrating special occasions in a meaningful way. It was a truly fantastic day enjoyed by all.”
