Double Celebration at Norden House Care Home

There was plenty to celebrate at Norden House Care Home recently as residents, families, staff and members of the local community came together for a special afternoon tea party to mark the home’s second birthday.

The home was filled with laughter and conversation as residents enjoyed tea, cakes and time with their loved ones, alongside staff and local community partners who joined the celebrations. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and reflect on the past two years, as well as celebrate the strong community that has grown around Norden House.

Adding to the celebrations was the fantastic news that Norden House has received a ‘Good’ rating in its first inspection by the Care Quality Commission(CQC).

The rating recognises the dedication and compassion of the team, and the commitment to providing safe, high-quality and person-centred care for residents.

One team member said:

“We were delighted to celebrate our second birthday with residents, their families and members of the local community. The tea party was such a lovely afternoon, and receiving our ‘Good’ CQC rating made the day even more special for everyone.”

Over the past two years, Norden House Care Home has focused on creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable, respected and truly at home. Events like the birthday tea party are an important part of life at the home, bringing people together and creating meaningful moments for residents and their families.
