Norden House Care Home is pleased to welcome Adriana Laryea & Ella Rosier as their new activities team.

HMT Norden House Care Home, in Littlehampton, West Sussex has gained two new Activity Coordinators who will be inspiring resident and community engagement. The new team, consisting of Adriana & Ella, both bring an energetic approach, with their positive outgoing personalities that residents have already taken to. 

Ella Rosier has spent the last 2 years working at Norden House as a Care Assistant, in which time she has built a true bond with the residents. When the position of Activities Coordinator became available she applied instantly and that passion has been clear since starting the role. Her true aim in the role is to create incredible moments for the residents. 

Adriana Laryea provides a strong creative background that embodies the role of a coordinator. She is a well organised individual who really wants to put her own stamp on the role and devise a unique activities plan. One which truly captures the interests and wishes of residents at the heart of everything the team do moving forward. 

When asked what the role means to them, Ella stated: 

“The residents’ face when you have organised an activity is so rewarding, we have a lot of fun and for that I am very lucky but to know I am making a change in the resident’s life, makes me so happy.”  

Which was echoed by Adriana “Seeing residents having fun and coming out of their shells because of an activity I planned is an amazing feeling.” 

At Norden House Care Home, we are always focused on listening to our residents and providing a tailored, enjoyable activities plan that engages them in a meaningful way – something which both coordinators have already started to build upon.  We except to see many exciting events for our residents over the next 12 months as Ella and Adriana make this role their own and deliver an exceptional portfolio of activities.
